  • My Passion

    Passion

def. any powerful or compelling emotion or feeling

My passion comes from my mother who is no longer here. As I would not have been photographing today, if it wasn't for her. She had the love for the camera. I am just continuing that love, so I can bring it to the rest of the world.

My passion also comes from my beautiful wife, daughter and son. They inspire me so much, that I want to bring that inspiration and passion to my clients. My wife is a wonderful Make-up Artist. Please check her out at adornedbeauty.com. My daughter is an inspiring artist and writer, as she is always painting and story-telling. And my son....well, he's still learning how to view the world.

I want my passion for life to come across not only in my images, but in the friendships that I make with my clients. As they are truly my canvas that I use to display my work.

  • My Vision

I strive to look at the world in a different view each time, as it changes everyday. I may photograph at the same location that I always shoot, but will always look for a different angle, different approach. As each client always brings different feelings, emotions and character to the location.

I hope I can continue to share my vision with my clients and the world. I feel noone really understands how my mind works when taking photographs, as I sometimes have crazy ideas. But, I believe those ideas and visions come from a greater power that I am blessed with.

"Where there is no vision, the people perish."
    -Proverbs 29:18

Liz & Joe – Engagement

Liz & Joe are an amazing couple!! We had tons of fun at Joe’s Fire-station (33 to be exact). Shout out to all the Medical Center Firefighters!! They were very helpful!! Especially, moving the big truck to a great location for us, so Liz & Joe can climb up the ladder. After the Fire-station, we traveled to Discovery Green to finish off the night. The street & park lights made the trees glow beautifully, providing a wonderful setting.

So, here’s to Liz & Joe, who are getting married on January 7, 2012 in Liberty, TX!!

Rylee – Newborn | PASS Gallery

Rylee Rae Hunter, born at 8:27am on 6/17. Weighing 7 pounds 11 ounces and measuring 21″.

I am proud to say that I am the first professional photographer to capture this beautiful little girl on camera. She reminds me so much of my daughter at that age. Like a warm little strawberry muffin!!!:)

But, as you can see, Rylee, is surrounded by a beautiful family, as well. Ryan, her father, and I talked about when she grows up, she’s going cause some trouble. But, as you can see in some of the pics, he’s not going to let anyone hurt her. Then there’s Rylee’s mother, Elicia, who is probably so proud to finally get a girl in the house that was filled with manliness.:)Finally, Ean, the active one of the family. He’s going to have some competition soon. I can’t wait to take their pics a few years from now.

P.S. – I’m using a new application called PASS to show my images. How do you like it?

Showit Pass Premier Tour

Tonight, David Jay and Showit are coming to Houston! For those that don’t know, he is the guy (CEO) responsible for the application that helps me design my website. (New one in the making).

But, he coming to Houston for a different reason this time. New technology!! Showit Pass!! Love it!! And I can’t wait to share this new technology with my clients… And, yes, you will love it, as well.

Check back here tomorrow as I post about the tour.

Rendy & Eric

I have known Eric from our days at Texas A&M University. Eric was probably the most active Aggie student I have ever meet. In fact, he is probably still one of the most active Aggies, even though he is not a student anymore.

So, when Eric called me to shoot his wedding, I knew it was going to be a grand event. And it was, it was a mini-reunion. So, Rendy, you have found a great guy. A man of integrity, pride and humility. Plus, he knows a little Stevie Ray Vaughn…..lol…. (You should have seen him sing “Pride and Joy” to Rendy.) Good times!!!

But, what an emotion wedding? This one had me crying, ya’ll. Seriously. Eric and I share a very real memory. Both of our mothers past away while we were still young men. So, when Eric brought up a few special ladies (that helped him through the tough times) for the “Mother and Son” dance, I felt my mother’s presence. I couldn’t help but cry. Love & miss you, Mom!!
